Remove the wooden cap from the top of the stand and carefully take out the two plexiglass panels, setting them aside.

3. Unwrap the Ceramic Plate and Knife:
Take out the ceramic plate and knife from the display stand’s bottom section. Gently remove the protective packaging, clean them, and place them back in the bottom compartment.

4. Unpack the Honeycomb Frame:
Carefully remove the honeycomb frame from the stand’s top section, cut away the plastic wrap, and replace it in the stand.

5. Assemble the Display:

Why is it limited to 50? Selling honey as an intact comb, rather than extracting it, uses far more of a season’s harvest per unit than jarred honey. The Papadopoulos family caps the run at 50 to avoid overharvesting their hives.

Is this honey raw and unprocessed? Yes. It is unheated and unfiltered, sold exactly as the bees capped it in the comb, so it retains its natural enzymes, pollen, and wax structure.

Where is it produced? By the Papadopoulos family’s apiary, based around Kalochorios near Thessaloniki, foraging across selected regions of Northern and Central Greece.

How do I serve honeycomb? Cut a piece directly from the comb with the included knife and eat it as is, wax and all, or place a piece on the ceramic plate alongside cheese or bread. It does not need to be removed from the wax before eating.
